Biography
Phil
Partridge is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Appellate Mediator,
a member of the Florida Circuit-Civil Mediator Society and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an Approved and
Qualified Fifth District Court of Appeals Mediator, a Florida Supreme Court Approved Arbitrator, a Certified Federal Court
Mediator for the Middle District of Florida, a neutral for the American Arbitration Association Brevard RMFMP, and a
roster mediator for the Orange and Osceola RMFMP. He has conducted over 500 mediations and arbitrations. He graduated
from the University of Florida College of Law in July of 1990, taking only two and half years, and in 1987 obtained his B.S.B.A.
from the University of Florida. He has lived in the Central Florida area for over three decades. He has been a practicing
attorney for 21 years, concentrating in personal injury, insurance defense and real property and probate litigation and is
a member of the Florida Bar, Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Orange County Bar Association.
He has conducted trials throughout Central Florida and has several reported appeals. He is going on seven years as a mediator.
Orlando's Mayor appointed him to both the Certification Appeal Board for the City of Orlando and the Chapter
57 Appellate/Review Board where he served as Vice-Chair. He is Vice President of Operations for the College Park Athletic
Association and is Vice President for the College Park Neighborhood Association. He was a certified continuing education
instructor for licensed adjusters in the State of Florida and has been a university level course instructor, guest lecturer
and presenter at legal seminars.
From 1997 until 2005, Phil Partridge was Claim Litigation Counsel for State
Farm where he primarily handled liability cases in Central Florida, while also handling various insurance issues, including
coverage questions and policy interpretations. He taught Liens, Tort Damages, Proposing A
Settlement/Demanding the Limits and Common Discovery Issues for continuing education requirements for licensed adjusters.
He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and advanced NITA.
Prior to State Farm, Phil Partridge
worked at Landis, Graham, French, Husfeld, Sherman & Ford, PA,(n/k/a Landis Graham French PA) in Volusia County. His
areas of practice included plaintiffs’ personal injury, insurance defense, commercial, probate and real property litigation,
including foreclosures. Phil Partridge served on the Board of Directors for
the Volusia County Bar Association where he also served as a liaison for the medical/legal community. He served on the Board
of Directors for Deland Main Street Association and for his home owners association and was on the construction law committee
for the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law section. Before Landis, Graham, he worked at Clayton & Teal, PA where he
immediately began trial and appellate work in civil litigation.
